How much does a Baxi Bermuda Boiler cost for buying and fitting?

If you are thinking of the Baxi Bermuda with the gas fire front you can no longer buy these as they are inefficient. Baxi do make a 'back boiler' but it is nothing like the old type. See here. It is a new condensing type that has an electric fire for the front. If someone does offer to install you an older type they are breaking the law as they won't be able to register it with building control. Price of the new one is around £1200 + fitting @£1000 with a flue and fire but don't forget that you also now need separate room controls if you havn't already got them. You might be better off having a wall mounted boiler installed for the same price and you can have it fitted almost anywhere.
