Domestic & General responded quickly with an acceptable quotation,and arranged an early date to do the work (we had no heat or hot water). The installation team were polite, friendly, and just got on with the job, barely taking a break till it was all done. They explained how everything worked and tidied up after themselves, leaving us with a warm house and water to wash in. I was very pleased with the whole experience.

they provided the best quote and the guys who came were efficent and friendly. They also cleaned up the mess (as well as men do clean up mess)LOL
We are so glad to have heating and hot water again especially as we have a 8 week old baby.

By working until 10pm (with our approval)the guys finished the job in one day rather than the predicted 1.5 days. V happy with professionalism, courtesy and work rate. Very good at cleaning up, nice tidy job.

Even though it was clear i was up on the 3rd floor, The surveyor did not include in the quote the need for scaffolding outside to seal the brickwork around the flue etc. thus the workmen arrived unable to do the work. After negotiation the company said they could seal it from inside the flat. The second team of workmen did the work and did not seal the outside flue properly, I will have to get workmen at my own expense to do the brickwork around the flue and the old flue.

D&G did the work on time as promised but did not make good. One week after the work was complete, we are still waiting for the hole where the old flue was removed to be filled from the inside.

the rep who visited gave all the right answers,the quote beat the rest,the guys who installed were brilliant,HOWEVER!!!! the aftercare is diabolical,they were quick to take payment,but since the installation,the heating system hasnt worked properly and after numerous phone calls and assurances someone would be out to sort the problem we are still waiting,we are sick of being fobbed off,they offered a 24 hr call out for any problems...well as far as that promise goes....dont bother,if you dont live in Wolverhampton you dont have a chance of any after care...

Quote was excellent by a very experienced gas engineer. He wrote out the quote by hand at the end of his survey. Very sensible approach, he didn't try to sell anything I didn't want or need. He was sensitive to the need to do the job asap and with minimum disruption.

i am totally dissatisfied and disgusted with their attidude,unsafe
work and the fact that they wanted to take boiler back out again when i said i wanted to see the work before paying. leaving a two year old and 6 week old baby no heating sickens me

Of the three final quotes which were all acceptable and in the same price range, this was the only one that found a way to change my gas pipe without running it up the outside front of my house. That was the major deciding factor.
the installation team arrived on time (actually early), worked dligently all day, and completed the installation in one day. I was very satisfied.

Quickly contacted and arranged a site visit. Work was scheduled and engineers turned up on time. Great job and also instructions given on how to use the new boiler and wireless controls.

Exceptionaly polite installers. Worked very hard installed boiler not one drip with lots of pipe work required in a awkward area. Very pleased.
Highly recommended, efficent and freindly service in tune with the customer.

Very good engineer but unfortunately had to return to upgrade gas supply as not enough pressure which was a bit of a pain for a week or so.

Installers turned up on the day at the expected time (10.45am).They worked all day to complete and left at 8.45pm.

The work was completed in one day.All rubbish an debris was removed from site.

All in all a good days work.

Initially their representative gave a very poor impression of the company. However I was then 'phoned by the manager who apologised and informed me that the representative was no longer working for the company. He subsequently came to my house and we started the quotation process again which resulted in the company getting my business. The job was completed to a very satisfactory standard, in a timely manner and at a very competitive price, I would have no hesitation in recommending this supplier to anyone.

Installation began later than expected, at 12noon, but the two installers stayed until the job was finished at just after 12 midnight to ensure that the elderly couple living at the premises were not disturbed or without heat on a further day. A small leak developed some days later and was attended and repaired the same day. Very pleased with these people.
