Was impressed with the salesman and also the fitter. However the planning department was poor as they were unable to send a surveyor to my property as agreed.

in too much of a hurry to finish job...quote said 2 days...they rushed to get it done in a day..leaving me with 3 problems..including 2 leaks which they were called back to sort. Customer service excellant....company overrall..not impressed.

company was able to start work within eight days of providing an estimate, which was very helpful
work was done within one day and all workmen showed good professionalism
also, a check-up was performed about a week after completion, which was very useful in terms of issues and questions that developed and which we were able to resolve

After not such a good start with the surveyor turning up on the wrong day, meaning me having to re-arrange work plans the job was done well. The workmen phoned to say they were on the way and arrived at the time they said they would. Work was carried out very well and with a good explanation of the new boiler system.

I had no problems with the installers who were very good. It was the advice on the type of heater suitable for my house that was wrong, there was no survey due to staff problems. I raised concerns due to the water pressure in my house and the number of users for this system. I verbally said I would cancel the contract. A save call was made. After much debate, Northern Gas agreed if the system was the wrong one they will underwrite all additional expense to put right if this needs to be changed. This was supposed to be put in writing the same day, it was not, I wrote to cancel my contract, I was told it was a day late. This caused a lot of grief and unpleasant discussions. Northern Gas gave the written underwriting. Reluctantly we went ahead otherwise it would had had to be resolved through the courts. The installers came up to do the work, had to go away as the combi-system on their van was not the correct system due to the water pressure in my house as advised by the installer before work started. However the new system was installed a few days after this. There was a problem with a leaky cylinder, Northern Gas would not replace this despite the wording of their subsequent underwritten agreement. (I was advised by trading standards that I could claim this from a small claims court - more time - more hassle) This I had to have replaced by another. Northern Gas finished the job immediately this was replaced. As said, I had no problems with the installers - they were tidy,hard working and pleasant. I still have a radiator that does not come on other than this the system appears to be ok. Northern Gas will send someone up when they are in my area. This has not yet happened.

My wife and myself are very pleased with are new boiler.The workmen very good very neat and tidy.I think the new boiler very good value for money would reccomend this to ahybody.

good job profesionally completed on time despite travelling through snow from Birmingham to the wirral. one small hiccup which was resolved and put right within 24 hours.

started late, took a long time and din't balance boiler system properly on completion. However, happy to be warm. Awaiting first gas bill to see if different. Felt they could have ripped me off by removing valuable copper tank and pipe to 'dispose' of - I got £120 for them!

I like the job they did.

There were a number of problems the sales person did not mention that the finished job was going to be the biggest eyesore anyone could imagine in a kithen not to mention external cables trailing around the middle of the walls in the kitchen and pipework there's enough to sink a battle ship I really would think twice about using this company I think they either employed the wrong sales person or they delibrility set out to decvie you because if you could see what I have you just would'nt have it done, and I don't think it the latter

I was told on the day of installation that the boiler I had been promised was not available so I felt pressurised into having one that I had not agreed to and knew nothing about. The driver had to come from Wolverhampton to my home in London, so didn't begin the installation until lunch time - it was therefore not finished until at least 7pm, which was very inconvenient as I had an evening commitment. However, the installation seems to have been done very well and the boiler seems to be good, so on the whole I would recommend the company.

very good work and friendly potite staff, but boiler pipes had a small drip, made 2 appointments with Northern Gas to come and fix it and both times didnt turn up and NO telephone call made to let us know, lost leave time at my work.

the sailsman, servayour, &then the enginears were very reliable, and I would not hesatate in recomending them to anyone, the left the place clean and tidy, and were very polite . Thank you for your help.

Surveyed twice - workman came out and said surveyed work could not be done. This lead to lots of delay and inconvenience.

The Only quote that agreed with what I wanted. The only quote that didn't try and sell me something that I didn't want.Job Carried out thoroughly and professionaly.

Job was done with a professional manner, they were very tidy as when the job was being done sheets were put down when they were working.

from the time they quoted to the time of fitting was quick turnaround the fitters were very professional and didn't waste time.

received a phone call within an hour of posting the request which was followed up by an email and appointment. Phone call to advise me of progress and remind me of appointment time.
The workmen arrived 11.15am and didn't leave until 9pm so it was a very long day and I had expected the job to have been completed earlier in the day but the drive from Wolverhampton to my home delayed the start.

Everything has been very professional from start to finish. The estimater was very helpful and informative as was the surveyor. The fitters were efficient, friendly and cleaned up after themselves! My new boiler has been working for over a week and is silent, efficient and reliable, and has a 5 year warranty. I am very pleased indeed.

Sales representative was very thorough and knew what he was selling. Original quote a little high but was able to get the deal down following other quotes. Workmen very customer friendly and profeesional. Job was completed on time and to good standard.
