I was satisfied with the installation. I would have liked a slower, fuller guide to the temperature controller/timer gadget.

Very fast service!They quoted on the Friday and installed my now boiler and replaced a few radiators the next day. The price was very reasonable, but the speed was most impressive, as it was January and very cold,this was much appreciated. Some of the workmanship in regard to the radiators looked a bit dodgy. I don't think they flushed the system properly, if at all. and I'm still waiting some kind of proof of the promised 5 year guarantee that was promised. Everything still working fine though 3 weeks on.

Helpful service, especially Nikki at the office.Some extra tuition re controls would be useful but overall good experience.

The engineer that came out to provide teh estimate was refreshingly honest, which is why we went with them.

After the booking was made, the communication from their central team could've been better, we weren't told what time the engineer would arrive and had to ask. He turned up late, 10am instead of the agreed 8.00am which was rather frustrating. After a week i'm happy with the boiler and the job. Low marks for tidyness...we had to clear up after he went, which was around 10pm.

The company has been flexible to offer various boiler solutions and was pleased with them to start the work within 3 days of visiting us. I was not happy about UK Gas Heating Services Ltd taking shortcuts by not power flushing the pipes prior to replacing our 2 x 15 year old boilers and for which later on I had to pay an extra £250. I had to arrange the flusher to be hired from HSS then the boiler installation and flushing was finalised by a 3rd engineer who did not seem to be very experienced in flushing and who has not fitted a filter at the boiler's end to safeguard the dirt going inside the boiler. Neither did he let the central heating running and then flushing the system out to give it a good clean. I had to take a day off from work and help him to finish/supervise the job. There was tons of rusty and black muddy dirt washed out from radiators and even after rinsing the system for hours the fitted magnaClean (I paid an extra £150 to be fitted) picked up a lot of small metal debry. Each time my wife and I had to tidy up and clean up the mess as none of the engineers would tidy after themselves and they would just walk with their boots on our expensive living room carpet! Even the kitchen lamp became loose as the 3rd engineer kept on jumping on the wooden stairs while creating enough vibration to losen up the screw attached to the plaster board ceiling and now we would have to call an electrician to have it fixed. On top of all this, while having the new boiler fitted UK Gas Heating Services Ltd took out our sink, broke the plaster wall to get out the old cylinder in the bathroom but then they refused to fix it all back with an excuse that they only fit boilers. The original quote was £1,850 for a Baxi Platinum and 5 years warranty which we asked to upgrade to a Vaillant EcoTec Plus 824 - final bill £2,400 (even though the boiler was actually cheaper to buy online). Most likely we would have to spend a further £400-£500 to have all the left over work to be completed. And even though they promised a 5 year warranty on the fitted boiler we are still waiting (10 days later) the paper work to be sent out. No revised invoice was sent to us either to reflect the price difference we paid. Also, we had to buy a new shower hose as the one we had start leaking after the the hose got damaged during the powerflush. In terms of the boiler is working fine, very quiet and the water pressure is reasonable though we shall most likely have a Worcester Bosch fitted in our next property.

The work was professional from start to finish. I got a really good deal A rated boiler BAxi Potterton platinum, (£1000 in value) flue cage, soak away built and wireless thermo all for £1525!!! The only minus point was that there was a trainee working with the fully qualified eng. and he, on two occassions forgot to close the rad up and water soaked my carpet and many towels were used and carpet had to be professionally cleaned. Otherwise, bloomin fantatstic!! Thumbs up <okay>
