EX1 - I need to replace my broken 10 year old gas combi boiler.
EX2 - At present I have a glo worm fuel saver mark 11. House was I believe built in 1964. I moved in in 1987. I presume it is the original boiler. In 1990 - an extension was added to house - and heating has never seemed as good since then. Originally 6 or 7 radiators(cant recall if one in bathroom or not). Now there are 10 radiators. Last winter - the central heating would not work, I could get hot water - but if I tried to use central heating - the pilot light would go out almost immediately. over the years I have twice had repairs re this - a new pilot light I presume. I feel I really need a new more efficient boiler. There may be a problem with some of the thermostats - one radiator appears not to heat despite bleeding the radiators to get rid of air.The boiler is inside a cupboard in kitchen - and would now need to be moved to an external wall. I would want a gas-safe professional.
