G73 - Hello I'm looking for a ROUGH estimate to install central heating and a combi boiler. The property is a one-bedroom flat in the West End. Currently there is no central heating, and hot water works off an immersion tank which will need to be removed. Total internal area : 62 sqr meters 1x Lounge 1x Kitchen 1x Bedroom 1x Bathroom (long and narrow) 1x Reception (small) The flooring is wooden boards so should be able easy to lift the boards (hopefully) to get the new pipes from room to room. There is a gas supply to the property already, and the electrics have recently been upgraded. Note that I don't have access to the property yet, hence me asking for a rough quote, but any assistance you if could provide a rough estimate from past experience I would be most grateful. I am looking to get this work done in 1 - 3 months. Thank you

G45 - I currently have a Potterton Lynx Combi boiler which is over 10 years old is not working effciently. I require a replacement combi boiler. 2 bedroom property with 5 rooms in total. Looking for reliable boiler but not too expensive but with good warranty.

Torrance G64 - Currently the property has a Baxi Bermuda 520 back boiler. We are considering replacing this (and removing the hot water tank etc) with a combination boiler. This would be placed in our integral garage. There are currently 10 radiators in the house, although we are about to have work done to change the kitchen and dining room into a kitchen diner, so this may rduce to 9. The radiators are of an older design and may need replaced. This work would require all the relevant plumbing work to convert from back bolier to combi system. The house consists of (downstairs)lounge, diner/kitchen, utility room, garage, and small toilet, (upstairs), 3 bedrooms (with one en-suite) and a bathroom.

G76 - We would like to fit a new combi boiler and take advantage of the government scrappage scheme as ours is very old and on last legs. We would also be looking potentially to change the pipes as have had problems with them getting blocked with build up as narrow and fit 5 new radiators. We have a 2 bed room house.

G12 - New boiler, radiators and pipework in a three bedroom terraced house. Currently has back boiler located in the chimney breast, which has to be removed, hot water tank to be removed from upstairs along with all associated redundant pipes. G1 - The current heating system within my building is one Central Boiler. This central boiler pumps hot water around the building to all 62 appartments. This system is massively inefficient with the Factor finding it extremely difficult to Measure & Value each appartments consumption of Hot Water. The bills are usually allocated on a Hit and Miss basis and as a result, my share of the bill is extremely unreasonable. Gas is not an option as the building is listed. I would like some form of Electrical boiler together with electrical central heating system. The pipework is already all there within my appartment. I'm looking at disconnecting from the main hot water supply. Installing my own electric boiler and tapping into my existing pipework to pump the water around my appartment. I would be interested in gaining a quotation for these works.

Kirkintilloch G66 - The boiler was fitted approx 4 years ago, but I do not have any required paperwork. I understand now that I need to have a landlords certificate for the boiler. I have been advised that the boiler cannot be repaired due to the no certificate and that I have to replace it?? is this correct or can it be repaired and I then obtian a certificate and get insurance? what would the cost of a new boiler be? Its a one bedroomed house all radiators are in good working order and heating working just no hot water. Thanks ·····
