EH5 - Vokera Linea 24 combi boiler, control display packed in no ignition etc no hot water or heating. gas supply is fine and electric supply also. potential ignition problem or entire control panel given up the ghost. boiler 12 years old with a lot of new parts fitted last year. only require advice as to whether fixable and at what cost or whether we require a replacement. please let me know your thoughts and quote for diagnosis.
EH6 - I have an optia ff50 gas boiler. it is able to ignite automatically, but it will go off after 4 - 8 mins of being on and not ignite again. checked online and it seems it may be thermostat prob. i have tried setting the 1 - 6 marker at different settings but the outcome is the same.

New & Replacement Gas Boilers in Edinburgh
EH6 - We need to replace a ten year old potterton Ultra2 System boiler and would like two different quotes:
1) Quote to straight replace boiler with a condensing system boiler
2) Quote to replace boiler with a condensing combi, strip out the hot water tank and replace 2 showers (both showers are pump driven power showers).
EH6 - Want to replace my old potterton suprima 40with a combi boiler. hoping to take advantage of the boiler scrappage scheme so replacement would need to meet those requirements. I am not looking to pay much over £1000. I am strictly the tenant but the landlord is a relation so I am arranging all the work.
EH16 - Please can I make an appointment for an engineer to visit my home to provide an itemised quote for the following work to our heating system.
Upgrade boiler:
• Kitchen: Replace Ideal Classic FF270 boiler with an ‘A’ rated combi-boiler
• Airing cupboard: Remove Megaflo hot water cylinder, pump, unnecessary pipework, etc if no longer required by combi-boilder
Radiators:
• WC: Replace 500mm radiator with new chrome 500mm towel radiator (to be supplied)
• En-suite: Replace 600mm radiator with new 500mm Kudox curved towel radiator we have purchased
• Family bathroom: Replace 600mm radiator with new 600mm Kudox curved towel radiator we have purchased
• Small bedroom: Move radiator from under window to North wall
We have a new Pegler Terrier straight TRV + lockshield (product ······) and lockshield valve for it that can be used if suitable. I would like all 4 radiators to have lockshield valves on them if suitable.
Please note all my measurements are approximate and should be checked.
EH3 - I would like to replace the current Sabre 24 kw combi boiler with a more reliable and powerful unit, as it has had problems and unlikely to last the winter. The present unit doesn't seem to be capable of heating sufficient flow to fill the bath, only showers and would like to instal another heater upstairs, where plumbing already in place. Need advice on what size of boiler suitable, recommended make and a quote, thanks
EH6 - I currently have a Saunier Duval SD 30e and I would like to replace it by a Worcester Bosch Greenstar 30Si.
How much would the installation cost if I was to buy the boiler myself?
Otherwise, how much would it be for a Worcester Bosch Greenstar 30Si and the installation if I do not buy the boiler?

EH11 - I am looking to buy a flat which currently has a back boiler in it - I would like a quote on taking this out and putting in a combi boiler. Also the home report states that all gas appliances should be checked to ensure compliance with current regulations and that the hot water system is dated and needs to be checked to ensure it complies with current regulations - could this be taken into account in the quotes? I need to know roughly how much the work may cost before putting in an offer on the property.

EH10 - Flat: Living room + 3 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms. Boiler is in kitchen, by sink and window, so drainage should not be a problem. Replacing a Worcester Bosch 350 Combi, output water max 35 kW, heating max 25.00. Needs to be done during first week in August, can be visited 1st August. I realise you cannot give an accurate costing, but a guide price and confirming availability would be useful.
EH7 - My existing combi boiler (a Sime Super 90 Plus) was installed in about 1995/6 and still seems to be working ok, but it will need replaced soon for efficiency if nothing else. I hope to (finally) redo my kitchen and move it from its hideously intrusive position. (I had wanted it over in the corner, but came home from work to find they had just shoved it up in a very obvious place by the window, not even high enough to be able to make good use of the space below. I've tolerated it all this time, but now want it shifted and hope the more modern units may have evolved into smaller 'boxes'. I need some quotes and dimensions of possible replacements, so that I can plan/budget my new kitchen units around it. Could anyone help please?
EH3 - I'm interested in installing a gas water heater to supply on demand hot water to my bathroom and also kitchen. I currently have an innefficient electric water tank. I'd also like to run a powerful shower off the gas water heater to replace the shower I currently have. Could you advise and quote please?

I'd like to replace the boiler that I have currently installed. it doesn't work now and again and I've been experiencing problems since I moved to this flat. it's a "Modena80" (don't remember exactly). the flat is a 3rd floor flat, 1 bedroom apartment (rather small, 45-50m2). I'd like to be advised on a not expensive model that would fit the size of the flat, installation fees, warranty and maintenance.

EH7 - Hi there,
I'm just in the process of buying a one bedroom flat on Easter Road in Edinburgh. It is going to need a bit of work in terms of gas and water. Right now it has a gas boiler and gas central heating. I think this system is at least 10 years old. There is a separate hot water heater.
I'd like to get a combi boiler and am interested in getting a quote for this. It will likely mean new pipes to the radiators (which I don't think will need to be replaced themselves).
Also - in a boxroom off the kitchen is a gas supply and I would also like to run a new gas pipe a few meters to be able to put in a gas hob/oven.
Lastly, I don't know if you do water but in a scullery there is a sink and washing machine so I would also be looking to add a new water pipe to run it into the main kitchen room to get a sink in there. Are you able to do all of these different jobs in one go? To the legal gas standards etc?
I should be in the flat by March 4th so would be keen to have someone come and take a look and give me a quote. But until then, could you give me a ballpark indication of boiler prices and the cost of create new gas and water lines?

EH11 - I am looking to replace my boiler with a new combi boiler. At present we have a huge storage tank in the cupboard and a water tank in the roof both of which take up lots of space. The current boiler is also housed in the bedroom. I would like to remove both water tanks and the boler and place a new combi boiler in the water tank cupboard. I live in a tenanment, ground floor flat and have gas central heating, water etc. The only problem could be the water pressure is very poor. would this be an issue?

EH12 - 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower.
Current boiler working - Baxi-Solo 2 approx 14 years old. 7 radiators with temperature thermostats. Hercal indirect coil hot water cylinder.
Remove boiler, hot water cylinder and loft water tank and dispose of. Fit efficient combi-boiler.
Current boiler and hot water tank working but there is a problem with flow between the cylinder and the taps resulting in very low pressure to the taps, especially bath. This does not seem to be a problem with mains water pressure.
