EH9 - We are refurbishing existing house and building an extension and as part of this we will be looking to install a new boiler and heating system. Most of the heating will be by way of underfloor heating (other than 3 bedrooms where there will be radiators) and there will be 2 bathrooms. Our initial thoughts are that an unvented cylinder will be most appropriate but we are open to advice (we want to be able to have 2 showers operating together at mains pressure)
New & Replacement Gas Boilers in Edinburgh
EH16 - New non domestic boiler for office building at Holyrood Business Park, 146 Duddingston Road West, Edinburgh, to include stripping out existing Gas Boiler and remove from site.
Alter system to suit new layout with Vaillant Ecotec 46Kw Condensing Boiler (or equivalent) complete with Flue and Vaillant Low Loss Header and 80 Litre Expansion Vessel with 2 New Motorised Valves. 1 No. for Central Heating and 1 No. for Hot Water and fit a Hall Stat in Building to save on Gas. This Boiler is ‘A’ Rated for efficiency and is 99% efficient. The system will need to be flushed through and treated for anti-corrosion and a Magnite fitted to protect new Boiler from sludge in old system. Re-use existing Pump and Time Clock and alter the system wiring to suit. Test and commission new system.
EH10 - Current bolier is a Vokera 12-48 R.S Mynute and is 13+ years old. The flue is leaking but has been patched up by an engineer. A replacement flue needs scaffolding hence I'm looking for an exchange boiler in the very near future. It need not be anything flash, just has to do the job. The property is a 2-bedroom tenement flat with 5 radiators and hot water tank.
EH8 - We are thinking about getting a combi boiler. Our current model is an Ideal Mexico 2. We are also looking at replacing the bathroom, so if you also do plumbing we would be interested in an all-inclusive quote for the new combi boiler and bathroom if possible. Thanks.
EH6 - We are looking for a condensing or condensing combi boiler to be installed. We are considering getting underfloor heating - water not electric. Our property currently has an electric emersion heater but there is mains gas into the kitchen where we would want the boiler installed.
EH7 - I would like to replace my old boiler and hot water tank with a new combi boiler. The property is a flat in city centre Edinburgh. As part of the work I will require my old hot water tank to be removed.
EH11 - We have just moved flat and there is an existing Vokera 20/80 rs flowmatic that's fan has broken so we are looking to upgrade the system.
We live in a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom basement flat and are looking for an A-rated condensing boiler with the future possibly of installing an underfloor heating system.
Obviously quality required but we need it to be affordable.

EH10 - I would like to remove an old 1978 gas back boiler together with gas fire from the lounge and to install a new combi/condensing boiler in the kitchen. The pipework will need some remodelling/replacing and 2 radiators.
EH5 - currently have a Vokere Excell combi boiler about 18 years old in good working order but G rated and wish to take advantage of government scrappage scheme (must apply 24/10/10). Simple installation. Some pipe and electric upgrade required flor installation.

EH3 - Supply and install Bosch 523 energy saving combi boiler or Vaillant equivalent to replace old Potterton boiler. Remove hot water tank and cold water tank, seal central heating system. Replace valves for 7 radiators (3rd floor flat, Edinburgh city centre).
EH8 - I have recently moved into this flat and though the boiler is only ~1.5 years old the heating is quite poor. Essentially the radiators are old, full of air and cannot be bled due to the screws having sheared off. I'd be interested in replacing 3-4 radiators and would be interested in an approximate quote. EH4 - I am looking for a quote for a new boiler, to include a system power flush. My current, inefficient boiler is a Voker Maxin 24e & I have been advised a Potterton Promax 28+ High Efficiency Combi would be a possible alternative. My home has 8 rooms & a hall and a total of 9 radiators, which includes all rooms, the hall, bathroom & heated towel rail.

Replacement of 4 radiators (2 in basement – 2 on 1st floor) by radiators with thermostatic valves – BTU’s to be calculated based on current installed radiators.
Upgrade of current boiler capacity and gas main supply from gas meter to be assessed.
Current conventional boiler is connected to a low pressure hot water cylinder – both located in the house’s basement.

around 12kw. Current boiler vents up chimney. Advise on applicability of boiler scrappage scheme and whether micro-CHP is possible.
EH9 - I have recently purchased the above address and will be moving in shortly. In order to upgrade the kitchen I would like to move the combi boiler from the ground floor into the attic space. The boiler is only 12 months old and has been little used as the house has been vacant since April. Can you provide me with a quote to relocate the boiler in the attic. I understand that in order to do this a permanent loft ladder is required.

EH7 - Boiler: Worcester 28i junior. Boiler overheated when the shower was being used about a month ago. Now keeps overheating whenever the shower is used and sometimes when taps are run.
Also has recently started making a buzzing sound when it is working. Had an engineer out to look at it and he said it sounded like the overheat thermistor for the hot water system wasn't functioning properly. He said he'd come back to fix it but never did.
EH7 - I have recently bought this property and notice that it has an old boiler behind the fireplace, which makes funny noises now and again. The heating works but I'm concerned about gas safety and would like someone to come and inspect it.
