TA24 - Replacing a 22year old wall mounted Potterton in garage and change from through-the-wall flue to vertical flue through tiled pitched roof. Distance from top of boiler to roof tiles is approx 1200mm. Distance to drain is approx 1800mm. All radiators except bathrooms already have TRVs. Current mechanical timer/controller to be changed to digital.
TA24 - Existing boiler dates from 1970's. Timer unit is faulty and has to be manually operated. Solar water heating with a new double coil hot water tank has been recently fitted and works well. I assume a new boiler will be more efficient heating the radiators.
