The boiler is partially below ground level, underneath the stairs. The flu is at ground level at the side of the drive.
The house has 3 bedrooms.
There is currently 9 radiators, 4 being double, with one due to be replaced with a double.
The current boiler size is 80kBTU - but is slow to heat the system, but maintains adequately.
Would like a combi boiler, and the removal of the header tanks & hot water cylinder.
I am working on quite a tight budget due to moving overseas for 3 years with work.
I am happy to complete some of the work myself (such as the removal of tanks) if it would reduce the cost, or allow a better boiler for same cost.
House is fully doubleglazed, stone built, with cavity wall and loft insulation.
