  • Radiant basement Heat: boiler or hot water heater?

Hello, we've been piped for radiant heat when we bought our house in 2007. We pulled up the carpet and plan to stain the concrete and hook up the pipes- should we use a boiler https://homecarechoices.org/boiler-f...nt-floor-heat/ or hot water heater? About 1200 sq ft in the basement and 650 sq ft in the garage. Chicago weather- we've had quotes for both- rheem 50 dual zone for $4k or boiler for 10k. What do you recommend? Thanks so much!
