It was a difficult job which they carried out superbly. They explained clearly what was involved, arrived punctually, cleared up regularly and took trouble to minimise disruption. All the men were very friendly and worked extremely hard to get the job done quickly. CH-Westend returned more than once after the work had been completed in order to fine tune the system. Our one small niggle is that we still haven't received the documentation (eg guarantees for the boiler and a receipt for the advance payment for 5 years servicing). However, the office says they are working hard to clear the backlog.
Thanks for the 5 stars mr Raleigh, yes we cleared our backlog of receipts, sorry for the delay. We register guarantees with the manufactors who can take a bit of time to send out the paperwork.
Yes was a big job to fine tune but all went well in the end.

The process was relatively easy and they fitted a Worcestor Bosch classic System boiler. The only issue is the Nest controls fitted with it. The installer was unaware of how it worked and gave us no instruction saying it was up to us to ask Nest directly. It would be better if they actually knew about a product that they recommended as we are left unable to totally manage the system.
Hi Vicky thanks for feedback from it I understand the works all went well. With regards to the nest controller or for that matter any timer, we set them up, run and test them but if at a later date you wish to change the settings you would be expected to look into this yourself and the manufacturers do have dedicated help lines for this. Pleasant engineers but site survey and preassessment was not adequately carried out. This caused works to extend into day 2 for a job quoted for one day. System was running when engineer left site on day 2 but no documents were left on site. On day 3 which was a Saturday the equipment failed with no heating or hot water. The firm was not available on the phone so I called out an emergency third party engineer who fixed the faults as best he could in the absence of any documentation or circuit diagrams as there was an apparent wiring fault. There is now adequate hot water and heating but the system is not running as it should. I have arranged a further engineer visit in the New Year and will update this feedback in due course.
Dear Mr Pearl thanks for your feedback but no update. Yes the works took more than a day but we would never promise that works would be finished in an exact time of course you can come across unforeseen problems I e water hard to turn off , one engineer may not be as fast as another etc. But as in your case you wouldn't be charged any more than you where quoted.
I believe the system went down on the Saturday and another firm changed an unrelated component on your system (a three port valve). Again as you mention we have returned checked over the works done and all is working as it should .
