UPDATE: August 2010 – TR Engineering Ltd has acquired the assets of Trianco Heating Products Ltd and continues to trade under the Trianco name.

Trianco Heating Products has ceased trading and gone into administration it has been confirmed.

The Sheffield-based heating manufacturer, best known as one of the top names in solid fuel and oil fired boilers ceased trading last week.

According to reports, administrators are in discussions with several businesses over the acquisition of the assets of the business after the 40 strong workforce was made redundant last week.

Trianco’s background dates as far back as the middle of the 19th Century with the latest company profile change taking place in 2006 when a management buyout led by Managing Director Peter Ferguson was successful.  Under the banner of ‘Trianco Heating Products Limited’, the company extended its range to cater for electric and renewable boilers as well as the existing oil fired and slid fuel boiler range.

Trianco Training Services, which operates as a separate enterprise from Trianco Heating Products, has not been affected.

Graham Ward, Training Manager at Trianco Training Services confirmed: “The unfortunate demise of Trianco Heating Products in no way affects the operation of Trianco Training Services. Bookings are being taken and will continue to be taken for all courses as listed on our website.

“It is extremely sad that Trianco Heating Products, a company of such heritage and with whom we have worked so closely with over the years, has come to an end. However, it is imperative for us to ensure that people realise that Trianco Training Services is an independent company and will continue to trade.”

Warranties of up to five years were available with Trainco products and customers, installers and technicians should refer any queries to the installer or supplier of their Trianco product. Trade customers should contact Deloitte’s Leeds office who is responsible for the administration of the company.
