Designed and manufactured by Intergas, the Xtreme 24kW Combi gas boiler is a highly reliable condensing unit.
The Xtreme comes with an efficiency rating of 93%, giving it an A rating and will help you to lower your energy bills. With a 24kW output rating, this boiler is perfectly suited to smaller homes with 1 bathroom that don’t have such a high demand for heating and hot water. The range also includes 2 other outputs that are more suited to slightly larger homes as they have output ratings of 30kW and 36kW.
It’s been designed as compact unit which will help to save space around the home but despite being small, there’s still room for many beneficial components. Features of this unit include a back-to-back 2-in-1 aluminium heat exchanger, with fully integrated copper circuits to allow for optimum heat transfer while minimising heat loss and the central heating water and cold tap water flow directly through the heat exchanger which helps exhaust fumes cool to the maximum and condensation heat is used optimally. Also, this boiler has a built-in flue gas recovery unit at the back of the heat exchanger, extracts excess energy from the condensate water and uses it to preheat domestic hot water or heating depending on which mode is being used which helps to reduce the amount of gas needed to reach the required temperature while lowering carbon emissions and energy bills.
Intergas Xtreme combi boilers can be fitted with an innovative new feature that removes the need for an annual boiler service, instead only needing to be serviced after 1,700 hours of operational use. With RF technology being embedded within the boiler, together with the Intergas LAN Gateway, your installer can remotely track the performance of the boiler. This feature is optional and you do have the choice to keep your servicing at the standard once every year but it has the potential to save you money on servicing costs.
With this unit being a combi boiler. Combi boilers are reat for smaller properties or properties where space may be limited. This is because they don't require an external water tank or cylinder since everything is wrapped up in one cost effective unit.
