Free Workshops on the Future of Boiler Maintenance Announced
The Association of Plumbing & Heating Contractors (APHC) have announced 6 free workshops for plumbing and heating engineers on the future of boiler maintenance.
Run in partnership with Worcester Bosch, the workshops will take place in 6 different locations towards the end of March 2019.
What Will the Workshops Cover?
A major concern for the heating industry is customers not arranging an annual boiler service as they don't believe it to be necessary when under warranty. Worcester Bosch will be discussing their concerns around this issue and how manufacturers are working to make warranty terms much clearer to consumers.
As well as this, Worcester Bosch will also give their thoughts on how boiler services might change to also include:
- Water quality measurement
- Replacement of wearable parts
In addition, the APHC will be providing an update on the developments to:
- Energy Company Obligation (ECO)
- Green Deal
- Competent Persons Schemes
- Microgeneration Certification Schemes (MCS)
