Alpha Boiler Warranty
What is a boiler warranty?
Boilers are supposed to be a long term investment so to know that a manufacturer will be there to look after you beyond the installation gives you the peace of mind to know that if anything goes wrong you're covered. This is where boiler warranties come in.
Depending on the length of your warranty period (usually 1-10 years), the manufacturer will send an engineer to your home to repair any faults and leave you with a fully functioning boiler.
As with most things in life, warranties come with terms and conditions which could end up meaning that you're not covered for everything you thought you might be. That's why we've put together a complete guide of everything you need to know before making your final decision and finding your perfect boiler.

Standard Alpha warranty
Alpha warranties begin on the day of installation and the length depends on the model you purchase. Their combi boilers come with between 2-7 years warranty, 3-5 years as standard for system boilers and 3 years on their range of regular boilers. The warranties of some Alpha boilers can be extended by adding a Premier Pack to your purchase.
How to extend the warranty
With Alpha's Boilercare, you can have your boiler looked after beyond your warranty by a one of Alpha's specialist engineers. Boilercare is an annual service that tends to be carried out during the summer months so that your boiler's ready for those cold winter days. For full details just get in touch with Alpha to find the perfect plan for you.
What's covered by the warranty?
While covered by the warranty, you can get any faulty or defective parts repaired or replaced for free so long as the issue was a result of the manufacturing process. In this case, the work must be completed by an approved Alpha Heating installer.
Alpha will aim to repair any issues over the phone and have a handy guide on their website if you feel up to giving it a shot yourself. Otherwise, they'll send out one of their nationwide service engineers to resolve your boiler issues.
Terms and conditions
The boiler must be installed by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Then, following the installation, you'll need to register your boiler on Alpha's website with some of your personal details and information about the boiler, so keep any paperwork to hand. To keep your warranty valid for the whole length of the agreement then you will need to have your Alpha boiler serviced annually.
How to register your warranty
You'll need to register your boiler with Alpha online using some personal details and information regarding the installation, so keep any paperwork to hand.
