Biasi Boiler Warranty
What is a Boiler warranty?
Purchasing a brand new boiler is a big commitment as you want it to heat your home for many years to come, so after purchasing it's good to know that the manufacturer will be there to look after you.
To give you a sense of how much life a manufacturer believes their boiler has, the longer the warranty the better. These warranty periods tend to be between 1-10 years.
While you may want to quickly snap up a boiler with a long warranty, it's always important to check that small print to find out what it actually covers. Depending on the manufacturer their warranties may only cover labour costs or certain parts of the boiler.
We know how tough it can be to find the small print sometimes, let alone read it, so here at Boiler Guide we've put together everything you need to know in one simple guide.
Who are Biasi?
Out of Italy, Biasi are a leading manufacturer of affordable domestic heating solutions with 75 years of experience at keeping la dolce vita well heated. Biasi expanded into the UK in the 90's going from strength to strength to become one of the industry's leading heating manufacturers.
A great advantage of Biasi is that they're part of the Heating and Hot Water Industry Council and the Benchmark Scheme, giving you complete peace of mind.

Standard Biasi warranty
Biasi offer the comfort of a free 2 year warranty so you have some breathing space after the installation rest assured that if something goes wrong, you're covered.
Depending on the boiler you get though, you can get a longer warranty ranging from 2-7 years.
After your warranty period, Biasi don't just forget about you, they offer a 'Fix and Forget' service for one-off repairs that includes parts and labour, but this will cost you £245.
What's covered by the warranty?
During the warranty, Biasi will repair or replace a boiler free of charge should it suffer a mechanical or electrical breakdown as a result of defective workmanship or materials during the manufacturing process.
To get in touch with Biasi about a fault, you'll need to give them a ring within their opening hours and aren't contactable at all on Sundays or bank holidays.
Terms and conditions
A little look through the small print is always important to make sure that you fully understand what you get with any warranty. With Biasi, you'll need to register online with both them and the Gas Safe Register within 30 days of installation and then have it serviced annually by a Gas Safe Registered Engineer; this servicing cost isn't covered in the warranty.
Biasi boiler service details have to be recorded in a benchmark logbook and sent to Biasi as proof of service, you'll also need it to hand during any warranty call.
Not doing all of that will mean you only get one year of cover rather than the full term of the warranty.
How to register your warranty
You can register your boiler on the Biasi website, providing them with a few details including the product serial number, so make sure you have that to hand.
