Johnson and Starley Boiler Warranty 2021

What is a boiler warranty?

Boiler warranties are just about as important as the boiler itself. They're a promise from the manufacturer that they'll be on hand to resolve any faults that may arise, which will give you great peace of mind.

Normally lasting 1-10 years, you can get a sense of how much a manufacturer believes in their product by how long the warranty period will last for. Length of a warranty isn’t the only thing that should come into your decision making though as different warranties will cover you for different things.

We know that you don't want to be spending time going through the small print of Johnson and Starley's warranty terms, so we've put together this guide to help.

Unlike most boiler brands, Johnson and Starley offer a guarantee on their boilers rather than a warranty. This essentially means that they promise to fix any faults caused by the manufacturing process rather than only take a look at the issue.

Who are Johnson and Starley?

Established in 1922, Johnson and Starley have developed an extensive range of 'home comfort solutions' that has seen their reputation for quality, reliability and quiet operation soar. Find out more about Johnson and Starley and their range of boilers here.

Standard Johnson and Starley guarantee

All Johnson & Starley boilers come with an 8 year warranty as standard, so no matter which model you purchase you’ll be getting a lengthy warranty.

What's covered by the guarantee?

During the warranty period, you'll be covered for anythings that's proved faulty or defective due to manufacturing process. The parts will be repaired or replaced without any parts and labour charges as long as Johnson and Starley have either authorised the work in writing or carry it out themselves.

Terms and conditions

Checking the terms and conditions is important before deciding on a warranty. In the case of Johnson and Starley, the boiler must be installed by a Gas Safe registered engineer following the installation instructions. After installation, the Johnson & Starley boiler will has to be serviced annually, otherwise the warranty will become invalid.

How to register your guarantee

To activate the warranty, you'll need to register the product either online, over the phone or by post within 30 days of the installation.
