What is a boiler warranty?
Boiler warranties are a promise from the manufacturer that for a certain amount of time after your boiler is installed, they'll be on hand to repair a fault. For this reason, the warranty is just as important as the boiler itself and can provide great peace of mind.
You'll find that warranty periods tend to last between 1-10 years but the length of the warranty isn't the only thing to consider. Thanks to terms and conditions, that vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, you might not be entitled to everything you thought you were.

Standard Keston warranty
The warranty of Keston boilers varies depending on the model but from 1st January 2018, the standard warranty of their Combi and System boilers was increased to 5 years.
How to extend the warranty
If your Combi or System boiler is installed with a Keston System Filter and gets registered at the same time as the boiler, then the warranty will be extended to 7 years.
What's covered by the warranty?
While under warranty, Keston will repair or replace the boiler without charge if it encounters a mechanical or electrical breakdown, as a result of defective workmanship or materials.
Terms and conditions
To remain within the terms of the warranty, the installation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer, and be the Keston boiler must be serviced annually from then on for the length of the warranty.
How to register your warranty
Your new boiler must be registered with Keston within 30 days of the installation and can be done online.
