What is a boiler warranty?

You want your new boiler to be providing your home with heating and hot water for a long time to come, that's why boiler warranties are important.

During the warranty period, the manufacturer of your new boiler will send an engineer out to your home to resolve an issue and leave you with a fully-functioning boiler. In most cases, a warranty period will last between 1-10 years and as a general rule of thumb, manufacturers who give their boilers a higher warranty have faith in their product.

As well as the length of the warranty, there are all sorts of terms and conditions that it's important to be aware of. To save you going through all of that small print with a magnifying glass, we've done it for to bring you everything you need to know about Warmhaus warranties.

Who are Warmhaus

Standard Warmhaus boiler warranty

Warmhaus have a range of different Combi boilers available that all come with a standard warranty of 2 years.

What's covered by the warranty?

During the warranty period, you'll be covered for any boiler component failures so that means it only applies to the boiler and not other parts of the system like the thermostat, time clocks or motorised valves.

Terms and conditions

Looking at the small print is always a vital part of considering a warranty as it may become invalid if certain criteria isn't met. With Warmhaus, the installer has to be Gas Safe registered and complete the Benchmark commissioning checklist at the time of installation, which you'll then need to keep hold of.

During the warranty, the Warmhaus boiler needs to be serviced by an engineer, who again must be Gas Safe registered. The cost of this annual service isn't included in the warranty. Also, details of any service need to be added to the Benchmark checklist.

How to eegister your warranty

Once installed, you'll need to register the warranty of your new Warmhaus boiler within 30 days of the installation. This can be done by simply filling in a form on the Warmhaus website.
