What is a boiler warranty?

A boiler is a long term investment, and when you purchase one you want it to provide your home with heating and hot water for many years to come. That's why it's important to know that the manufacturer of your brand new boiler will be there to look after you should an issue arise.

Boiler warranties are important for this very reason, and also help to give you a sense of much they believe in that model. Warranty periods tend to be between 1-10 years so the longer the warranty the better.

However, it's important not to go with a boiler just because it has a long warranty, always check what's covered in that period of time. Depending on the manufacturer, their warranties may only cover labour costs or certain parts of the boiler.

Standard Ariston warranty

Many Ariston boilers come with a 2 year warranty as standard. The longest standard warranty they offer is 12 years which is attached to their Atleas One Net and Genus One Net combi boilers.

What's covered by the warranty?

While you're in the warranty period, Ariston will repair or replace the faulty appliance when the issue is a direct result of materials or workmanship from the manufacturer.

You won't be covered for any issues that arise as a result of incorrect installation, commissioning or maintenance procedures.

Terms and conditions

To validate your warranty for the second year, you will need to have your Ariston boiler serviced at the end of the first year by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

How to register your warranty

To register your boiler warranty, you can fill in your details online via Ariston's website or over the phone. This has to be done within 30 days of installation.
