About the Brand
Worcester Bosch, as the name suggests, began in Worcester in 1962 as a small engineering company specialising in oil fired heating. Over the years the company has grown to offer a wide range of award winning products and through continued innovation now dominates the UK heating market. This was cemented in 1992 when it was acquired by the Bosch Group.
Worcester Bosch are a big name in heating and their products are widely regarded as some of the most reliable and high quality you can buy. The company manufactures a wide range of both gas and oil boilers as well as unvented cylinders, heating controls, stoves, heat pumps and solar water heating technology.
Greenstore Unvented Cylinders
Although designed to complement Worcester Bosch’s Greenstar System and Regular boiler range, the Greenstore unvented cylinder will work with any brand of boiler. As with any Worcester Bosch product, they have an excellent reputation for both quality and reliability shown by their 25 year guarantee on the cylinder vessel.
Worcester Bosch offer 2 types of unvented cylinder in a range of capacities to suit your home’s hot water demand. Both types of cylinder are designed to be heated indirectly i.e. by a boiler but the Greenstore Solar also has the capability to work with a solar water heating system. The cylinder also includes a 3kW immersion heater as a backup should your boiler or solar breakdown. Worcester Bosch do not produce vented cylinders.
The cylinder is made from Duplex stainless steel to prevent corrosion and is insulated by 60-60mm of foam to prevent heat loss and promote energy efficiency. In the line with the brand’s commitment to its environmental policy, all the Greenstore’s components are 100% recyclable.

Key Features
Greenstore Warranty
The Greenstore cylinder includes a 25 year warranty but this does not cover the components within the cylinder. These are protected by a 2 year warranty as standard. If you have or are planning to install a Worcester Bosch System or Regular boiler purchasing a Greenstore cylinder at the same time can sometimes extend the warranty on the boiler.
Greenstore Unvented Cylinder Cost
Usually unvented cylinders will cost anything between £500 – £1,000 and Worcester Bosch tend to sit at the higher end the scale. This doesn’t include the cost of installation which will vary from installer to installer.
