Product Description

The Baxi 424 combi is a highly efficient gas boiler that has proved to be a popular option for smaller homes.

How efficient is the Baxi 424?

An efficiency rating of 93% and ErP A-rating for heat and hot water show that this is a highly efficient boiler that could help to lower your heating bills.

Is the output rating suitable for my home?

Combi boilers have a central heating (CH) output rating and a domestic hot water (DHW) output. The Baxi 424 has a CH output of 21.8 kW making it suited to homes with up to 10 radiators and a DHW output of 24 kW.

Are any other options available in the Baxi 400 range?

There are 2 combi boilers in the Baxi 400, this 424 model and the 428. The difference between these combi boilers is that the 428 has a more powerful DHW output rating of 28 kW.

Is a combi boiler suitable for my home?

Combi boilers take water from the mains and heat it on demand whenever there's a need for central heating or domestic hot water. This means that they don't need to be installed alongside any additional tanks or cylinders - unlike system and regular boilers. While this is great for saving some space around the property, it does mean that combi boilers are only able to meet the hot water demand of homes with a low to medium demand for hot water.

How long is the warranty period?

Baxi 400 boilers come with a 5 year parts and labour warranty that will see you're well covered in the unlikely event of a fault.

What are the key features of the Baxi 424?

One of the biggest benefits of Baxi 400 boilers are the flexible flue options which gives makes it easier to find a location for your new boiler.

In addition, the Baxi 424 is compatible with uSense heating controls to give you even more control over the central heating.

How big is the Baxi 424?

As a compact unit, with dimensions of only 700x395x296mm (HxWxD), the Baxi 424 can be installed within a wall-mounted kitchen cupboard.
