Mattira electric boilers by ELNUR are available in outputs of 3 kW to 15 kW with this 10 kW model being the best option for smaller properties with around 7 radiators.
Why choose an electric boiler?
Lowering carbon emissions will have to involve changing the way that we heat our homes. Burning gas and oil, as most homes currently do, releases carbon into the atmosphere which is a leading cause of climate change.
Electric boilers don’t produce any emissions as they operate and that’s not the only benefit: no risk of a carbon monoxide leak, flexible installation and a quick response to calls for central heating and hot water.
How efficient is the ELNUR Mattira?
The ELNUR Mattira has an efficiency of 36.4% and ErP D-rating for heat. Electric boiler efficiencies appear low because the electricity generation process currently involves burning fossil fuels, which is considered carbon intensive.
The efficiency of the Mattira can be increased to 100% thanks to the Smart Energy Modulating system (SEM) which calculates energy consumption versus demand every 20 seconds and modulates the heating output. This process ensures that the boiler is never using more energy than is needed.
Key features of the ELNUR Mattira
Mattira boilers have been designed for wall-mounted installation and feature stainless steel shielded components, insulated steel for increased efficiency, user-friendly digital display, silent TRIAC power switches, 6l expansion vessel and a heating temperature limiter of 100C. Alongside the Smart Energy Modulating system, all of these features make for a highly efficient and effective electric boiler.
Does the Mattira range include other outputs?
Mattira boilers are available in a wide range of outputs which makes finding a suitable heating system much more straightforward. As well as this 10 kW model there are outputs of 3 kW, 5 kW, 6 kW, 8 kW, 9 kW, 11 kW, 12 kW, 13 kW and 15 kW. A heating engineer will be able to recommend the best model to suit your heating and hot water demands.
How long is the warranty period?
Mattira electric boilers have a 2 year warranty as standard while the internal hot water cylinder has an extensive warranty of 5 years.
