The Mattira system electric boiler, designed and manufactured by Mattira, is the perfect heat system for small flats with around 2 radiators.
Why choose an electric boiler?
To achieve carbon targets and tackle the ever-growing threat of climate change the way we heat our homes will have to change. Electric boilers are one of the low carbon alternatives to heating our homes with gas and oil.
There are a number of advantages to having an electric boiler installed in addition to there being no emissions, including zero chance of a carbon monoxide leak, flexible installation and a rapid response to calls for heating and hot water.
How efficient is the ELNUR Mattira?
ELNUR Mattira units have an efficiency of 36.4% and ErP D-rating for heat. This is because electricity generation is considered carbon intensive as most involved the burning of fossil fuels.
Thanks to the Smart Energy Modulating system (SEM), ELNUR Mattira boilers are able to achieve efficiencies of 100%. This system calculates energy consumption versus demand every 20 seconds to modulate the heating output. By having this in place, efficiency is increased and energy bills will be kept to a minimum.
Key features of ELNUR Mattira electric boilers
Mattira boilers are wall-mounted, made from insulated steel, have stainless steel shielded elements, a digital display, silent TRIAC power switches, a 6 litre expansion vessel and a heating temperature limiter of 100C. All of this, alongside the Smart Energy Modulating system, makes for a highly efficient and effective heating system.
Does the Mattira range include other outputs?
There’s a wide range of boilers in the Mattira range to suit a variety of properties. In addition to this 3 kW model are outputs from 5 kW right up to 15 kW. If you’re unsure which is right for your home, a heating engineer will be able to recommend the best model to suit your heating and hot water demands.
How long is the warranty period?
Mattira boilers are covered by any defects that have come as a result of the manufacturing process for a 2 year period. The internal hot water cylinder has a lengthier warranty of 5 years.
