Product description

The Mattira 5kW system electric boiler, designed and manufactured by ELNUR, is the perfect heat system for small flats with 3-4 radiators.

Why choose an electric boiler?

To reach net-zero carbon targets and tackle the ever-growing threat of climate change, how we heat our homes is going to have to change. Electric boilers are one of the low carbon alternatives to heating our homes with gas and oil.

In addition to no emissions, electric boilers offer a number of benefits: zero chance of a carbon monoxide leak, flexible installation and a rapid response to calls for heating and hot water.

How efficient is the ELNUR Mattira?

ELNUR Mattira units are 36.4% efficient and have an ErP D-rating for heat. This is as a result of electricity generation being considered carbon intensive because it largely involves the burning of fossil fuels.

The Smart Energy Modulating system (SEM) featured in ELNUR Mattira boilers means that they’re able to achieve efficiencies of 100%. SEM calculates energy consumption versus demand every 20 seconds to modulate the heating output so that only the right amount of energy is being used. With this in place, efficiency is increased and energy bills are kept to a minimum.

Key features of ELNUR Mattira electric boilers

Mattira boilers are wall-mounted, made from insulated steel, have stainless steel shielded elements, a digital display, silent TRIAC power switches, a 6 litre expansion vessel and a heating temperature limiter of 100C. All of this, alongside the Smart Energy Modulating system, makes for a highly efficient and effective heating system.

Does the Mattira range include other outputs?

There’s a wide range of boilers in the Mattira range to suit a variety of properties. In addition to this 5 kW model there are outputs of 3 kW, 6 kW, 8 kW, 9 kW, 10 kW, 11 kW, 12 kW, 13 kW and 15 kW. If you’re unsure which is right for your home, a heating engineer will be able to recommend the best model to suit your heating and hot water demands.

How long is the warranty period?

During the standard 2 year warranty period, your Mattira boiler will be covered for any issues that have come about due to the manufacturing process. The internal hot water cylinder has a lengthier warranty of 5 years.
