Designed and manufactured by ELNUR, the Mattira system electric boiler with a 6 kW output rating is the perfect heating system for small flats with around 4 radiators.
Why choose an electric boiler?
The UK has a target of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 and to do this the way we heat our homes will have to change. Electric boilers are a low-carbon alternative to heating homes with gas and oil.
In addition to no emissions, electric boilers have many advantages over the burning of fossil fuels: zero chance of a carbon monoxide leak, flexible installation and rapid response to calls for heating and hot water.
How efficient is the ELNUR Mattira?
The ELNUR Mattira range of boilers are 36.4% efficient with an ErP D-rating for heat. The ErP rating is low because electricity generation is considered carbon intensive as, for the most part, it involves the burning of fossil fuels.
To increase efficiency, Mattira boilers feature a Smart Energy Modulating system (SEM) which means that they’re able to achieve efficiencies of 100%. The SEM system calculates energy consumption versus demand every 20 seconds to modulate the heating output which means that only the right amount of energy is used. With this in place, efficiency is increased and energy bills are kept down.
Key features of the ELNUR Mattira
Mattira boilers are wall-mounted, made from insulated steel, feature stainless steel shielded components, have a digital display, silent TRIAC power switches, 6 litre expansion vessel and a heating temperature limiter of 100C. All of these features, alongside the Smart Energy Modulating system, makes for a highly efficient and effective electric heating system.
Does the Mattira range include other outputs?
Mattira boilers are available in a wide range of outputs to suit many homes. In addition to this 6 kW model there are outputs of 3 kW, 5 kW, 8 kW, 9 kW, 10 kW, 11 kW, 12 kW, 13 kW and 15 kW. If you’re unsure which is right for your home, a heating engineer will be able to recommend the best model to suit your heating and hot water demands.
How long is the warranty period?
Available with a standard 2 year warranty, your Mattira boiler will be covered for any issues that come about due to the manufacturing process. The internal hot water cylinder has an extensive warranty of 5 years.
