Designed and manufactured by ELNUR, the Mattira 8 kW electric system boiler is best suited to small flats with 5-6 radiators.
Why choose an electric boiler?
Choosing an electric boiler over gas or oil comes with a number of advantages, including: zero emissions during operation, no chance of a carbon monoxide leak, flexible installation and a quick response when heating and hot water are needed.
In the fight against climate change, carbon emissions need to drop significantly and for this to happen, the way we heat our homes has to change. Electric boilers are a possible option.
How efficient is the ELNUR Mattira?
Thanks to the Smart Energy Modulating system (SEM) featured in Mattira boilers, they’re able to achieve efficiency levels of 100%. The SEM system increases efficiency by calculating energy consumption versus demand every 20 seconds and then modulating the heating output. This process ensures that the boiler is never using more energy that it needs to.
The ELNUR Mattira range of boilers are 36.4% efficient with an ErP D-rating for heat. The ErP rating is low because electricity generation is considered carbon intensive as, for the most part, it involves the burning of fossil fuels.
Key features of the ELNUR Mattira
Mattira boilers are wall-mounted, feature stainless steel shielded components, are made from insulated steel to increase efficiency, have a user-friendly digital display, silent TRIAC power switches, 6 litre expansion vessel and a heating temperature limiter of 100C. Alongside the Smart Energy Modulating system, all of these features help to make for a highly efficient and effective electric boiler.
Does the Mattira range include other outputs?
To help you find a suitable heating system for your home, Mattira boilers are available in a wide range of outputs. As well as this 8 kW model there are outputs of 3 kW, 5 kW, 6 kW, 9 kW, 10 kW, 11 kW, 12 kW, 13 kW and 15 kW. If you’re unsure which is right for your home, a heating engineer will be able to recommend the best model to suit your heating and hot water demands.
How long is the warranty period?
Featuring a 2 year warranty as standard, Mattira boilers are covered for any issues that arise due to the manufacturing process. The internal hot water cylinder has an extensive warranty of 5 years.
