Why choose an electric boiler?
To lower carbon emissions there has to be a shift in the way we heat our homes as burning fossil fuels, such as gas and oil, is one of the leading causes of climate change. By choosing to have an electric boiler installed, the benefits include zero emissions as they operate, no chance of a carbon monoxide leak, very flexible installation and a fast response to calls for central heating and hot water.
How efficient is the ELNUR Mattira?
ELNUR Mattira boilers have an efficiency of 36.4% and an ErP D-rating for heat. The efficiency ratings given to electric boilers is low as the process is considered carbon intensive as, for the most part, it involves the burning of fossil fuels.
Thanks to the Smart Energy Modulating system (SEM) featured in Mattira boilers, they’re able to achieve efficiency levels of 100%. The SEM system increases efficiency by calculating energy consumption versus demand every 20 seconds and then modulating the heating output. This process ensures that the boiler is never using more energy that it needs to.
Key features of the ELNUR Mattira
Mattira boilers are wall-mounted, feature stainless steel shielded components, are made from insulated steel to increase efficiency, have a user-friendly digital display, silent TRIAC power switches, 6 litre expansion vessel and a heating temperature limiter of 100C. Alongside the Smart Energy Modulating system, all of these features help to make for a highly efficient and effective electric boiler.
Does the Mattira range include other outputs?
To help you find a suitable heating system for your home, Mattira boilers are available in a wide range of outputs. As well as this 9 kW model there are outputs of 3 kW, 5 kW, 6 kW, 8 kW, 10 kW, 11 kW, 12 kW, 13 kW and 15 kW. A heating engineer will be able to recommend the best model to suit your heating and hot water demands.
How long is the warranty period?
Mattira electric boilers have a 2 year warranty as standard while the internal hot water cylinder has an extensive warranty of 5 years.
