The Compact HRE SB 18kW is a wall mounted system gas boiler which has been designed and manufactured by Intergas. It is a highly reliable model using energy saving, condensing technology. As a system boiler it will directly heat your central heating system and hot water for a storage cylinder.
Most of the important parts of the hot water and heating system, such as the pump and expansion vessel, are built in on a system boiler making it quicker and cleaner to install. This also means you get a faster response to demand for heating and hot water and you don't need to have a feed and expansion tank in the loft.
This unit has an efficiency rating of 88.9% making it an ErP A-rated boiler. The output rating of 18kW makes it perfect for those smaller properties which do not have a high demand for hot water.
This boiler has no air pressure switch and is easy to service and maintain. It has almost no standby losses and comes with a built in frost thermostat that protects your system through the cold winter months. It also works with regular on/off thermostats as well a programmable room thermostat which will help to give you maximum control over the unit.
Included as standard is a 10 year warranty on the heat exchanger and 7 years warranty on parts to give you that added security that it is a highly reliable boiler.
