The Outdoor Mega Combi Plus ODMC 7 oil boiler from Mistral is available as either a condensing or non-condensing unit. It has been designed to be installed outdoors and is floorstanding.
This boiler is an A rated appliance with a high efficiency rating of 90%. The 70kW output means it is perfectly suited for the larger homes with a higher demand for heating and hot water such as those with multiple bathrooms. This boiler is also available in a range of other outputs between 41-70kW.
A key feature of this boiler is the integral 230V electric immersion heater which is installed in the heat store. This means that in the event of an oil failure (or when it is not required to fully operate) the boiler will provide a backup supply of domestic hot water through the immersion heater. It also has front servicing access, a multi directional flue outlet, pre punched pipe access point and is able to be used in tandem operations. Frost protection is fitted as standard to protect the unit water from freezing over in the cold months when the boiler is needed most. The technology is housed in a high quality, corrosion resistant casing.
You don’t need a feed tank in the attic or a storage cylinder in as this unit is a Combi boiler i.e. it will supply heating and hot water on demand using the mains water supply. The 5 year warranty included as standard with this boiler is a real mark of quality.
