Designed and manufactured by Mistral, the Outdoor Sealed System COD SS1 is a floor-standing, condensing, oil-fired System boiler that can provide a workhorse solution for heating.
This is a highly efficient unit that boasts an efficiency of 92%, which makes this unit A-rated. The output rating of 15-20kW is suitable for smaller homes that don’t have such an excessive demand for heating and hot water.
As an outdoor unit, that will help to save space around your home, is fitted with several components to help it keep running during even the coldest of weather. It has a fully-insulated casing, that is weather resistant, and zinc phosphated, for maximum protection from corrosion. As well as this, it comes with a polyester coated and highly durable green texture finish, helping the unit to blend into the surroundings. There’s also a frost stat, fitted as standard, which keeps the boiler running during the cold winter months.
Other features of this Mistral boiler include no indoor oil line, direct coupling to a pre-installed water heating sealed system, a circulation pump, 12 litre expansion vessel, safety valve, pressure gauge and an automatic air vent. It’s also fitted with a multi-directional flue and a pre-punched pipe entry point on both the back and the side of the boiler that helps to make the standalone unit an easy and quick one to install, helping to save you money.
