Manufactured by Mistral, the Outdoor Sealed System COD SS2 is a condensing, floor-standing, oil-fired System boiler that can provide a space-saving, practical heating and domestic hot water solution for domestic and commercial properties.
The high efficiency of this boiler is shown through its efficiency of 92%, which helps to make it an A rated unit. When it comes to output, the COD SS2 has a rating of 20-26kW, providing a workhorse solution to heating installations.
With this unit being an outdoor boiler, it comes with a weather resistant casing made from zinc phosphate which gives optimum corrosion protection. In addition, the unit has a green textured polyester coated finish so it can blend in with its surroundings. Being an outdoor boiler, safety is important, so the unit comes housed in a lockable cabinet. So, not only will you be saving space around the home but when it comes to the annual service, the heating engineer can do it without access to the residential area.
To make sure the unit can operate all winter, when you need it the most, a frost stat is fitted as standard, which helps to stop the water from freezing. As well as this, the unit has many other features, including direct coupling to a pre-installed water heating sealed system, a circulating pump, a 12 litre expansion vessel, safety valve, pressure gauge, automatic air vent, multi-directional flue, a pre-punched pipe entry point on the back and both sides of the unit, helping to make for a quick and easy installation, use in tandem operation and requires no indoor oil line.
