The Outdoor Utility OD6 Regular Oil Boiler from Mistral is a non-condensing unit with a wide range of features to help make it an extremely reliable and efficient boiler. This particular model has an output rating of 58kW making it perfectly suited for the larger homes with multiple bathrooms or a higher demand for heating and hot water. It is also available in a range of other outputs from 15kW to a 41kW.
This boiler is a floor standing boiler designed to be installed outdoors. This is why is has a fully insulated weather resistant casing with zinc phosphate to give the unit maximum protection from corrosion. It’s also finished with a green textured effect to help it blend in with your garden. It is compact in size at only 480mm wide and doesn’t need an indoor oil line which means no installation mess inside.
Key features include front servicing access, a multi directional flue outlet and a pre punched pipe access point which can be used in tandem operations. It also has a frost stat fitted as standard to protect it from the coldest months. It’s a Regular boiler so will heat your central heating system directly and also produce hot water for your cylinder. Due to the fact that you need a hot water cylinder which is often fed by a cold water storage cistern located in the attic this boiler type is not suitable for the smaller properties where space is limited.
