The Outdoor Utility Standard COD1 Regular oil boiler from Mistral is a floor standing unit which has been designed for outdoor installation. It is protected by fully insulated weather resistant casing to prevent corrosion. It has also been finished in green to help it blend in with the outdoors and is just 480mm wide.
This model uses condensing technology to deliver a high efficiency rating of 92% which makes it an A rated appliance. The output rating of 20kW means the boiler is perfectly suited for homes with a lesser demand for heating and hot water such as those with only one bathroom. There are other output options available for homes with a greater demand and also a non-condensing model available for certain installations.
Key features include a multi directional flue and pre punched pipe entry points located on the back and sides of the boiler enabling a quick and easy installation. It also includes a lockable cabinet door so servicing can be completed without the need to access your property. The boiler comes pre-fitted with a frost stat to protect the unit from freezing during the cold winter days when the unit is needed most.
As a Regular boiler it will heat your central heating system directly and also produce hot water for your cylinder. You will need a hot water cylinder which is often fed by a cold water storage cistern and a feed and expansion cistern which are usually located in the loft. A 5 year warranty is included as standard.
