The Sealed System S1 is a non-condensing, floor-standing oil boiler designed and manufactured by Mistral. Boasting a 93% efficiency and A rating, this is a highly efficient unit that could help to lower your energy bills.
This is a compact unit, measuring just 410mm wide, which means that it can nicely hidden away under a standard work surface. The output rating of 20kW makes it perfect for smaller homes that don’t have such a high demand for heating and hot water. Other outputs are available in the range, from 14kW up to 40kW, which means there’s a boiler to suit the demands of just about any home. You can also choose whether to have a condensing or non-condensing unit and whether you’d like it installed indoors or outdoors.
The S1 features a 12 litre expansion vessel, safety valve, pressure gauge, automatic air vent, high-quality white casing, a multi-directional flue outlet, pre-punched pipe entry points on both the side and back which allows for an easy and quick installation that can save you money. This unit also has a 2 or 4 port option, front servicing, conventional or balanced flue and can be used in tandem operations. All of these features make for a highly reliable unit that’s not going to let you down.
As this is a System boiler, it sends hot water to the radiators and a sealed hot water storage cylinder. The important parts of the system are built into the boiler which makes it more compact and easier to service.
