The IR18 Regular gas boiler from ATAG has been designed as a compact, wall mounted appliance with dimensions of just 700x440x355mm. It uses condensing technology to deliver an A rated energy efficiency level of 94%.
This model has an output rating of 18kW which makes is perfectly suited for smaller homes without a high demand for heating and hot water. It is also available in other outputs between 15kW to a 40kW so if you need a more powerful boiler you should be able to find the perfect solution in the range. As a Regular boiler it needs to be installed alongside a hot water storage cylinder, cold water storage tank and a feed and expansion tank. This means it is not really suitable for homes where space may be limited but it is an economical replacement for a traditional heating system.
Key features include user friendly controls to help give you maximum control over the unit and the unique iCon heat exchanger which has a lifetime replacement guarantee. This highly reliable unit has an extensive range of flue solutions meaning it is flexible in where it can be installed.
ATAG offer some of the lengthiest warranties available on the market with the iR18 having a 10 year warranty as standard which can be extended as far as 14 years. For 14 year coverage, the boiler must be installed with a ONEZone smart controller, Adey Atom filter and water treatment pack
