The Vortex Pro External Regular oil boiler has been designed and manufactured by Grant as a floor standing unit to be placed outdoors to save that much needed space in your home. This is a condensing regular boiler which is also known as a conventional or heat only boiler. As a Regular boiler it will heat your central heating system directly and also produce hot water for a storage cylinder. This boiler requires both a hot water cylinder and a cold water storage cistern located in the attic, this boiler type is not suitable for smaller homes where space is limited.
This boiler is part of an award winning product range. It comes with an optional sealed system kit, a unique Grant Vortex stainless steel heat exchanger, and it's fitted with low NOx riello burner. It’s a compact unit that is quick and easy to install with no complicated wiring or plumbing helping to save you time and money on cost of installation. This boiler also features a built in test switch and frost protection to protect your boiler in cold months when you need it most.
All these features help to allow for a highly efficient unit. This is shown with its high efficiency rating of 91.20% which makes it an A rated unit. The output rating of 15-25 kW makes it perfect for smaller homes with not such a high demand for heating or hot water. The boiler is also available in other outputs ranging from 15-70kW so you should be able to find a boiler to suit your home.
