The Amptec 12 kW electric flow boiler by Heatrae Sadia is the perfect heating system for small flats and apartments with limited space and around 8 radiators.
Why choose an electric boiler?
As the UK aims to lower its reliance on fossil fuels, the way we heat our homes is set to change. There are many green alternatives to burning gas and oil, as are common now, with electric heating being one such alternative.
Electric boilers are low-carbon heating systems that don’t produce emissions as they heat the home and there’s zero risk of a carbon monoxide leak.
How efficient is the Amptec electric flow boiler?
Amptec electric boilers are 99.8% efficient with an ErP D-rating for heat. Gas and oil boilers rarely reach efficiencies above 93% yet have an ErP A-rating (or higher) for heat. This is because electricity generation often involves burning fossil fuels which is considered carbon intensive. As the use of renewables (wind, solar and hydro) to generate electricity continues to rise, we could see a change in the ErP rating given to electric boilers.
Where can Amptec electric boilers be installed?
Thanks to their compact design of 1,050 x 90 x 90mm (HxWxD), Amptec boilers don’t take up much space at all, ideal for smaller homes. Even better is that electric boilers don’t need a flue (which expels waste gases into the atmosphere) so they can be installed onto internal walls as well as external walls.
Heatra Sadia recommends installing this 12 kW model into loft conversions, extensions conservatories, flats, apartments and garages.
What are the key features of the Amptec 12 kW electric flow?
Amptec electric flow boilers are suitable for wet central heating systems and are compatible with both radiators and underfloor heating. They are long thin units with a footprint of 90mm square, are silent during operation, have no moving parts (which gives them a longer life) and are incredibly efficient.
In addition to the 12 kW model, Amptec electric flow boilers are also available in output ratings of 4 kW, 6 kW, 9 kW and 11 kW, giving you plenty of options when it comes to finding a suitable system.
How long is the warranty period?
Available with a standard 2 year parts and labour warranty, you’ll be well covered by Heatrae Sadia after installation.
