Product description

The Electromax, by Heatrae Sadia, combines an electric flow boiler with a hot water storage system that’s available in models to suit radiators and underfloor heating.

Why choose an electric boiler?

Lowering the carbon emissions of homes is essential in the fight against climate change. This means switching from gas and oil boilers to low-carbon alternatives. One such alternative is the electric boiler which doesn't produce any emissions as they work to heat the home.

Electric boilers have a number of other benefits too, including zero risk of a carbon monoxide leak, flexible installation and silent operation.

How efficient is the Electromax electric flow boiler?

The Electromax electric boiler with integrated economy controller gives this unit an efficiency rating of 99.8%. Compared to gas and oil boilers, which rarely achieve more than 93% efficiency, 99.8% is very high. Where electric boilers lack is in terms of their ErP rating which, for the Electromax, is a C for water and D for heat. Gas and oil boilers achieve at least an A-rating despite their lower efficiency level as electricity generation is currently considered carbon intensive.

Where can an Electromax electric boiler be installed?

Electromax flow electric boilers are compact in size and can be installed into a standard airing cupboard. To make installation even more flexible, electric boilers don’t produce any waste gases, which means that they don’t need a flue - unlike gas and oil boilers.

What are the key features of the Electromac 9 kW?

Electromax boilers are fitted with an integral 180 litre unvented cylinder which allows the system to deliver hot water at mains pressure and fill baths quickly. You’ll even be able to get a supply of hot water to multiple taps at the same time.

Factory fitted componentes, such as the circulating pump, makes for a straightforward installation and highly efficient performance along with money saving integration through the use of economy tariffs will keep your energy bills down to a minimum.

How long is the warranty period?

The Electromax boiler and controls are covered by a 2 year warranty while the cylinder has an extensive 10 year warranty for parts and labour.
